Hollywood, California, 29 luglio 2015. La première mondiale di Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, trasmessa in in diretta da Yahoo, ha battuto ogni record rivelandosi il più riuscito live stream mai organizzato dal sito. L’esclusivo evento online ha consentito a milioni di fan di Mission: Impossible sparsi in tutto il mondo di assistere alla prima direttamente dalle loro case, uffici o dispositivi mobili.
A determinare il successo di questo streaming in diretta hanno contribuito le campagne di promozione portate avanti nella rete globale di Yahoo e nei social, compreso Tumblr, oltre che il supporto dato dalle star del film attraverso i social media.
Alla première mondiale di Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation, che si è tenuta il 23 luglio al Teatro dell’Opera di Vienna, hanno partecipato gli attori Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg e Rebecca Ferguson, il regista Christopher McQuarrie e i produttori David Ellison, Dana Goldberg e Don Granger.
Paramount Pictures e Skydance presentano una produzione di Tom Cruise e Bad Robot Production, Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Con l’agenzia IMF ormai sciolta e Ethan (Tom Cruise) allo scoperto, la squadra deve affrontare una rete di abili agenti speciali, il Sindacato. Questi agenti addestrati a combattere sono fortemente determinati a instaurare un nuovo ordine mondiale attraverso un crescendo di attacchi terroristici. Ethan riunisce la sua squadra e si allea con l’agente britannica destituita Ilsa Faust (Rebecca Ferguson), forse un membro del temibile “stato canaglia”, proprio mentre il gruppo deve affrontare la sua missione più impossibile.
