100 FILM PREFERITI DA CLOONEY –
George Clooney ha rilasciato un’intervista per Parade in cui ha compilato la lista dei suoi 100 film preferiti. Il periodo che maggiormente apprezza è quello tra il 1964 e il 1976. Ecco le sue parole e di seguito la lista:
“C’erano grandi registi – Mike Nichols, Hal Ashby, Francis Ford Coppola, Martin Scorsese – scorri la lista di questi filmmaker incredibilmente talentuosi che lavorano tutti al loro meglio e quasi in competizione l’uno con l’altro. Pakula, Sidney Lumet – voglio dire, si può andare avanti a scorrere la lista. E tutti facevano film interessanti. Quell’epoca era il riflesso del movimento pacifista, del movimento per i diritti civili, del movimento per i diritti delle donne, della rivoluzione sessuale, della controcultura della droga. Tutte queste cose stavano esplodendo nello stesso momento. E questi film ne erano il riflesso. Quando questo si verifica troviamo film davvero ottimi. Ci danno un senso di quello che stava accadendo alla nostra psiche.”
